I joined Phybridge in 2009 after using their solution in my role at the time as a senior IT executive with a large financial services organization. After I experienced the solution, I had to tell other people about it and quit my job to do just that.
Phybridge is the leader in PoLRE (Power Over Long Reach Ethernet) switch technology. Phybridge was the first company to introduce switch technology that delivers Ethernet and PoE over a single pair (SPE) of wire with four times the reach of traditional switches. Phybridge long reach Ethernet switches are the standard against which others are measured.
In 2015, Phybridge acquired Network Video Technologies (NVT) and we are now NVT Phybridge. NVT Phybridge has since enhanced our portfolio of Long Reach Power over Ethernet Technologies that will run on single-pair, multi-pair or COAX cable, delivering Ethernet AND PoE with distance of 6000 feet on certain cable types.
